What does Thanksgiving mean to you? Getting together with family and friends? Gobbling and feasting until you are so full you can't move? Pilgrims and pumpkin pie?  Well, you know that the Pilgrims really did not eat pumpkin pie, they actually had wild game and vegetables that they grew.  So what are you going to do? Sit and watch the Macy's parade or some football? Oh and there is always the run for those sales ads in preparation for Black Friday (biggest shopping day of the year)? If you brave those people.

Do you take time to give thanks on Thanksgiving and if you do, who or what are you thankful for?  Do you try to give to those who are less fortunate? This is always a time to give thanks, and the more thanks we give, the more blessings we will recognize.

We hope that you remember and think about our troops who are away from their families.  If you are in a position to do so, here is a USO link for you to donate to them to say thanks to our men and women who give so much of themselves. A $25 donation sends a care package to a deployed service person who is away from home at this time. Remember its not big things that matter, its the time you spend with family and friends.
